The mission of PEER Academy is to provide a challenging individualized education, emphasizing peer interaction and collaboration, that inspires each child to reach his or her full potential.

PEER Academy of Knoxville was founded in 2016 and is a nonprofit 501c3, state approved private school. PEER Academy specializes in the needs of children with developmental disabilities, including autism and other unique learning styles.

PEER Academy is a fully functional K-12 school that also encourages growth and development in self-advocacy and life skills for its students. PEER Academy proudly utilizes a holistic educational approach, customized for each student to help them develop their academic, cognitive, and social abilities in a supportive and nurturing environment.
